The Ministry of Health is preparing to launch the specialized dental clinic for pediatric dentistry at the Tafila Comprehensive Health Center in the coming days, after completing all the technical and logistical equipment and supplying it with advanced medical equipment. Thus, it will be the first clinic of its kind and the only one specialized in this vital sector at the level of the Tafila Governorate.
This qualitative medical project comes to end the long suffering of the people in the governorate, as integrated dental care will be provided to children within a customized therapeutic environment that meets their needs, and under the supervision of highly qualified medical staff to deal with young age groups.
For his part, an official source in the Ministry of Health confirmed that the clinic is in its final stages of operation after the arrival and installation of the latest dental devices suitable for children, indicating that the Ministry pays great attention to enhancing specialized services in comprehensive centers in the governorates.
The same source explained that the clinic will constitute a qualitative leap in the level of preventive and curative services, and will work to reduce the rates of oral and dental diseases in children through programmed periodic programmes.
For their part; Citizens in Tafila Governorate appreciated this decision, stressing that the opening of a specialized clinic for children in the Tafila Comprehensive Center represents a real response to their repeated demands, and contributes to alleviating the financial and physical burdens on families, noting that the presence of such a specialty in the heart of the governorate will enhance the efficiency of the local health system and ensure that their children obtain their right to optimal health care close to their places of residence.
This ministerial direction reflects a tangible commitment to developing the health sector in the peripheries and governorates, as providing subspecialties in comprehensive centers contributes to relieving pressure on government hospitals, and ensures the provision of speedy and quality medical service, in line with the national vision for developing primary and comprehensive health care throughout the Kingdom.
