Lahore: Several Pakistani army personnel were killed in a terrorist attack on the headquarters of Sindh Rangers in Karachi 2 days ago. Within a day of that incident, Pakistan launched an airstrike in Afghanistan. The death toll continues to rise. Pakistan government has claimed that all the dead are terrorists. But Afghanistan claims that the real picture is completely different.
The Pakistani government claims that they have killed 29 ‘Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan’ or TTP militants in this operation. But pictures from Afghanistan suggest otherwise. It was observed that Pakistan as always attacked civilian targets, killing more than 35 people and injuring more than 100 people. This includes small children. According to pictures released from Afghanistan, among the dead are children aged 4-9 years and several elderly people. Many innocent children and women are undergoing treatment in government hospitals, while Pakistan government minister Ataullah Tarar is misleading the world by claiming that 25 terrorists were killed in an airstrike by the Pakistan Air Force.
Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Ataullah Tara claimed, in recent times, armed militant groups have carried out continuous attacks in different parts of the country. This campaign has been started to answer him. Pakistan claims that the attack targeted the base of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan in the border area. But the picture says something else. According to the information received from Afghanistan, at 12:30 pm Indian time, the Pakistani Air Force attacked the houses and mosques of ordinary people in Gian area of Paktika province, Chamkani area of Paktia province and Marwara area of Kunar province. After the first attack, just as local people were helping the victims, the second attack took place. At 12:55 PM, the Pakistani Air Force again attacked unarmed innocent people. As a result, the number of injured has crossed 100 and the death toll has crossed 35 so far.
A day before this incident, there was an attack with guns and explosives on the regional headquarters of Pakistan Rangers in the Pakistani port city of Karachi. It is claimed that three Pakistani soldiers were killed in that attack. Pakistani security forces retaliated by gunning down three assailants and wounding one more. The Pakistan Army claims that the arrested person is an Afghan citizen.
It is to be noted that the Pakistani government has claimed that there have been multiple attacks targeting the police and security forces in Pakistan recently. Islamabad has mainly blamed the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) and their allied militant groups for these attacks. And innocent Afghan citizens are being attacked in the name of counter-attack. According to media reports, Pakistani air force has killed 565 Afghan citizens in the last 9 months.
