The press release of the Ministry of Defense stated: “During the visit, which was held at the request of Turkmenistan, both sides discussed the security of the border areas, better coordination between the border guards on both sides of the border, and other important issues.”
At the end of the meeting, both sides called the relationship between Afghanistan and Turkmenistan good and assured of full efforts to strengthen security.
