Ulaanbaatar,
April 6, 2026 /MONTSAME/. The number of tourists visiting Mongolia
increased by 39% in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period
last year.
Specifically,
143,431 tourists arrived in the first quarter, an increase of 40,580 compared
to last year. In March alone, 59,317 tourists visited, which is 19,815 more
than in March 2025—representing a 50% increase.
According to
the Mongolia Tourism Organization, the steady growth in inbound tourist flows
is the result of the joint efforts and cooperation of stakeholders in the
tourism sector.
