The deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Rrustem Mustafa, said that he met with the Prime Minister of Kosovo and the chairman of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, to discuss his platform.

Mustafa has proposed a “Coalition of Normality” between Vetëvendosje Movement, PDK and non-majority communities.

Mustafa said in KTV’s “Interkativ” that he met Kurt in the last few days.

“Personally, I had an important, long and fruitful meeting with the chairman of Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti, in the last few days. Completely related to the platform that I have unveiled. Maybe not all the details that are read today”, said Mustafa.

He said that the negotiations have started and the familiarization with his idea has started. And he expects that in the following days he will be given the opportunity for this agreement.

He said that the best chance for a coalition agreement is between Vetëvendosje and PDK.

In the platform that Mustafa revealed on Facebook on Monday, he proposed that the president go to the Democratic Party of Kosovo, while the post of prime minister and the Assembly go to Vetëvendosje.

The PDK sent the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly to the Constitutional Court on Monday, while it is expected to send the election of the Kurti 4 Government to the Constitutional Court on Tuesday.

“Politics is the most important instrument of a country. I am calling the political instrument to use it for good. The leave given by the Constitution does not remove the political instrument from the agenda… It does not remove the opportunity for meetings and round table calls by Prime Minister Albin Kurti to sit down and talk at length about how to proceed and get out of this impasse”, said Mustafa.

He said that Kurti received him well and had a long meeting.

“It was a satisfying meeting as a first meeting. I expect Mr. Kurti to make the next invitation. To invite me and let’s agree on how to move forward”, said Mustafa.

The deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Rrustem Mustafa, has said that even the former president of Kosovo and the former head of the PDK, Hashim Thaçi, would support his platform for a PDK-Vetëvendosje coalition.

Mustafa said in “Interaktiv” that he believes in a positive verdict for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army who are being tried in The Hague. The verdict for Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi will be given on September 16.

“There has never been a moment when Mr. Thaçi has not been integrated into the positive developments of the country. I believe he will be a great supporter of the platform and will help us move forward. We have had other cases that we have gone through. You remember after the war, I spoke and was for the great coalition PDK – LDK. When no one believed, I had my opinion there. I passed it as a first exam, when we formed a coalition with Mr. Lutfi Haziri in Gjilan. I know what “There have been some developments. I know that the coalition with LDK has been great and has brought good results to the country,” said Mustafa.

Mustafa said that he is sure that Hashim Thaçi and Albin Kurti could co-govern.

“I am sure that Mr. Thaçi and Mr. Kurti would co-govern. I am convinced that this coalition would bring stability and very good well-being to the people. It is up to Prime Minister Albin Kurti to cooperate and not go to the elections,” said Mustafa.

The deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Rrustem Mustafa insists that a coalition between the PDK and the Vetëvendosje Movement could normalize the country. He said that these two political entities, together with the non-majority deputies, would be able to solve all the impasses.

In the show “Interaktiv” on KTV, Mustafa said that he calls it a coalition for normality and that together they will create a good government leadership.

“The coalition for normality that I say leaves room to discuss an even wider coalition. There are enough numbers together with the non-majority communities to choose the right issues and create normality. I know that the PDK and Kurti with Vetëvendosje can normalize the country and can create good government bodies together, including the president to have good developments in the country’s progress”, said Mustafa.

Mustafa has called for such a coalition several times. He directly appealed to the chairman of the PDK, Bedri Hamza, and the leader of the LVV, Albin Kurti, to meet and discuss an agreement.

Meanwhile, the PDK is determined to remain in the opposition until Kurti has repeatedly invited them for a meeting./Koha.net
