According to information from the Press Office of the Economic Assistance of the Prime Minister’s Office to Bakhtar Information Agency; Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund mentioned this industrial park as an important step in the country’s economic growth, industrial development and providing land for investment and said:
“The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has allocated land for the creation of industrial parks in different provinces for the creation of job opportunities for the country’s citizens and for the industrial growth of the country, which we are opening today in Kunduz to continue the practical work.”
Mulla Baradar Akhund insisted that production should be strengthened to reduce reliance on imports.
Its form is standardized and industrial activities are developed.
The economic deputy of the Prime Minister said that with the arrival of the Islamic Emirate, suitable opportunities for economic activities, trade and investment have been created in the country and now is a good opportunity for investors and industrialists to take advantage of these opportunities and invest in Afghanistan.
According to him, recently, along with domestic investors, many foreign investors have started investing in different fields in Afghanistan, and the Islamic Emirate has accepted privileges for all investors and provided them with facilities in many fields.
Mulla Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund has also asked the relevant authorities to complete the work of the said industrial park on time and in accordance with all standards.
It is worth mentioning that in the said Kunduz Industrial Park, investment will be made in textile, medicine, food, construction materials, iron and steel and other production areas. Mosque, administrative and commercial areas, hospital, bank, seminary and school and other necessary services are considered in this industrial park.
