Damascus, June 6 (SANA) The general secondary school certificate exams, with its two branches “scientific and literary”, the religious secondary school, and the vocational secondary started on Saturday in 1570 examination centers in various Syrian provinces.
SANA reporters in Syrian provinces said that the number of students applying for the secondary school certificate exams in all its branches has reached 368,596 male and female students, among them as 215,258 ones for the scientific branch, 127,343 students for the literary branch, 23,267 in the vocational secondary school, and 2,728 ones in the Sharia secondary school.
In a related context, outlaw groups in Sweida southern province prevented the students from leaving for the exam centers designated by the Ministry of Education, despite the efforts and measures taken by the state to secure their transportation and protection.
