The Police from Montevideo investigate a homicide that happened this morning and of which, for the moment, its location is unknownas reported by the Department Headquarters in a statement.
In these last hours, a man, about whom no further information was provided, was transported in a private vehicle to the Repetto polyclinic with a serious head injury.
After leaving him at the medical center, the driver of the car quickly left the scene. without providing information about the victim.

The injured man, for his part, was assisted by guard personnel, who diagnosed him with a “gunshot wound to the skull with loss of head mass”and transferred him still alive to the Maciel Hospital. However, once there he died due to the severity of his injuries.
The case is being investigated by the 2nd shift Homicide Prosecutor’s Office and the Homicide Departmentwho seek to clarify the identity of the deceased, as well as the place and the way in which he was murdered.
By analyzing the video surveillance cameras, the Police were able to establish that the vehicle used to transport the deceased was a Suzuki Alto.
