Authorities from Mexico and the United States hold a working conversation in which they ratify their interest in maintaining bilateral cooperation in priority areas such as security, migration and trade.
Roberto Velasco, from the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, talks by phone with the Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, to address the relationship between both countries. According to the Mexican Foreign Ministry, officials agree on strengthening coordination on issues considered priorities for the bilateral agenda.
The United States ambassador to Mexico, Ronald Johnson, highlights that cooperation between both nations is essential to address shared challenges related to security, migration, trade and the fight against drug trafficking. The dialogue occurs amid recent diplomatic differences between the two governments.
