With Metronome Prague moving to a larger site in Letňany, major open-air concerts returning to the capital and dozens of club shows planned across Prague, Live Nation is preparing for one of the city’s busiest summer concert seasons in recent years.
Live Nation is preparing for a packed summer concert season in Prague, with this year’s Metronome Prague festival, two major summer shows in Letňany and a growing number of club events across the capital.
Speaking with Prague Daily News ahead of the season, Ondřej Pojzl, Head of PR and Marketing at Live Nation Czech Republic, outlined plans for Metronome Prague and several other major events expected to draw thousands of music fans to Prague in the coming months.

Metronome Prague Expands in New Letňany Setting
One of the key events of the summer will be Metronome Prague, which is set to take place in late June in Letňany. The festival has moved to the larger site to accommodate higher visitor numbers, with organisers expecting between 15,000 and 20,000 people over the three-day event.
This year’s headliners are Tom Odell on Friday, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on Saturday, and Sting on Sunday. In total, the programme will feature more than 30 artists across three stages.

Alongside the main stage, the festival will also include a second stage, likely to carry the Live Nation name, and a third stage focused on emerging young artists. According to Live Nation, the smaller Cupra Pulse stage is also intended to help identify acts with the potential to return later for standalone club performances in Prague.
Food, Art and a Broader Festival Experience
Organisers are also aiming to expand the festival beyond music. Metronome Prague has partnered with FRESH Festival to improve the culinary offering on site.
Instead of standard festival fast food, visitors can expect a broader range of options, including barbecue, Asian fusion, coffee, desserts and other speciality offerings. Restaurants from Prague and other parts of the Czech Republic are expected to take part.
The festival site will also feature art installations, including works by Czech artists, as part of a wider effort to make the event more than just a concert experience.
Line-Up Metronome Prague 2026
Live Nation says its cooperation with Metronome Prague is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its festival presence in the Czech market. While the company does not own the festival, it sees the partnership as a way to help elevate the event and attract more international artists.

Big Summer Shows to Come
Beyond Metronome Prague, Live Nation is also preparing several high-profile concerts in the capital.
OneRepublic will return to Letňany roughly nine months after a sold-out show at Prague’s O2 Arena. The band is expected to draw another strong crowd, with organisers describing the concert as one of the season’s major open-air highlights.
Pitbull is also expected to be one of the biggest draws of the summer. After selling out the O2 Arena, the US Rapper is now heading to Letňany, where Live Nation expects a crowd of up to 60,000 people. Another Prague show at the O2 Arena is already planned for later in the year.

The schedule also includes a concert by Hollywood Vampires at the end of the summer, featuring Johnny Depp, Alice Cooper and Joe Perry. Pojzl expects strong demand for that show as well, citing the band’s celebrity appeal and cross-generational audience.
More Club Concerts Planned Across Prague
Alongside its large-scale summer events and festival programme, Live Nation is also continuing to expand its presence in Prague’s club concert scene.
That expansion is already visible in the company’s concert schedule. Pojzl says there are plans for around 40 club shows this year, marking a significant increase compared with previous seasons. Among the acts mentioned were Fentanyl, which has been moved to Fuchs2, and SWMRS, which sold out last year and is set to play at Café V lese.
With Metronome Prague expanding, major open-air concerts returning to Letňany and club programming continuing to grow, this summer is shaping up to be one of the busiest concert seasons in Prague in recent years.
