The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, in a statement, that “the two ministers reviewed the most prominent regional and international developments, most notably the US-Iranian agreement and the progress achieved in the negotiations between the two sides.”

The meeting also discussed “the importance of ensuring freedom of international navigation in… Strait of Hormuz Without restrictions, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the situation in each of them Gaza And Lebanon.”

Today, a ministerial meeting began in the Bahraini capital, Manama, bringing together the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries with their American counterpart, Marco Rubio. The meeting discussed developments after the signing of the US-Iranian memorandum of understanding.
