

The opposition leader María Corina Machado He held a meeting this Monday with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, at the Elysee Palace, as part of his international agenda focused on adding support for a political transition in Venezuela.
The meeting took place in Paris and focused on the situation in the Latin American country, particularly the need to move towards democratic change. After the meeting, the French president shared a message on his social networks highlighting the content of the conversation.
“I have received Maria Corina MachadoNobel Peace Prize. “Together, we have talked about their commitment to freedom and the importance of achieving a democratic, peaceful transition in Venezuela that respects the will of its people,” he said.
Before the meeting, Machado released images of her arrival at the Elysée Palace, where she was seen accompanied by part of her close team. The leader was together with political scientist Pedro Urruchurtu, advisor Isadora Zubillaga and leader Antonio Ledezma, who also participated in activities at the presidential headquarters.
María Corina Machado begins European tour
The visit to France is part of a tour that includes institutional and media meetings in Europe. For this Tuesday, Machado’s agenda includes a meeting with the president of the French Senate, Gérard Larcher, as well as interviews with the media before concluding his stay in Paris.
The leader will later travel to Spain, where she will continue her political agenda. According to close sources, he plans to meet in Madrid with the leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and with the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
During his stay in the Spanish capital, he will also receive the Golden Key of the city from the mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida, in an act that will mark one of the central moments of his visit.
