Minister of Housing and Construction, Issam Juma’a, has held talks with a Malaysian delegation on expanding cooperation in housing and infrastructure projects under the government’s “Return to Life” reconstruction programme.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Tripoli International Fair and focused on attracting foreign investment and expertise to support urban development plans.
Juma’a said strengthening partnerships with international firms was a strategic priority, pointing to what he described as growing investment opportunities in Libya’s reconstruction sector.
He added that the government aims to bring in global expertise to ensure projects meet international engineering and technical standards.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian delegation said it was ready to enter the Libyan market and contribute to development efforts, particularly in urban planning and large-scale housing projects.
