Samoa is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of young triathlete Crisroch Euta Levale, who has been officially selected to represent the nation at the 2026 Youth Olympic Games to be held in Dakar, Senegal.
Crisroch is one of only thirty-two triathletes worldwide chosen to compete in the Men’s Triathlon event, marking a remarkable milestone in his young sporting career and a proud moment for Samoa on the international stage.
The 16-year-old earned qualification for the Youth Olympic Games through his strong performances at the Oceania Regional Cups held in Fiji in 2025 and Palau in 2026. His selection was officially confirmed this week by the International Olympic Committee and World Triathlon.
Hailing from Letogo, Crisroch is the son of Faaleleiga and Kolomiti Euta Levale. He is currently a student at Church College Pesega and is a dedicated member of the Letogo Triathlon Squad.
Crisroch trains under the guidance of his father, Euta, who coaches the Letogo Triathlon Squad, with additional coaching support and training programmes provided by Samoa’s National Coach, Ray J Reupena.
His achievement reflects not only his dedication and discipline but also the continued growth of triathlon in Samoa and the success of developing local athletes through strong community-based programmes.
As Samoa looks ahead to Dakar 2026, the nation stands proudly behind Crisroch as he prepares to compete against the world’s best young triathletes.
