SEOUL, June 25 (Yonhap) — President Lee Jae Myung will have a lunch meeting with former President Moon Jae-in at Cheong Wa Dae next week, a presidential spokesperson announced Thursday.
Lee and Moon will meet for lunch at the presidential office compound next Wednesday, presidential spokesperson Kang Yu-jung said at a press briefing, without elaborating further.
The meeting between the two, both affiliated with the ruling Democratic Party, comes as the party is expected to select a new party leader at a party congress in August.
