LeBron James He defined it as “an honor” to have worn the Los Angeles Lakersa franchise from which he said goodbye this Tuesday to enter free agency for the NBA.
“Thanks to you,” LeBron wrote in X when replying to the Lakers’ thank-you message.
James, 41, said it was an honor to be on the Lakers and try to “continue the greatness and legacy” of the franchise.
“I hope I have made some people proud during my time!” he concluded.
LeBron will continue playing in the NBA next season and the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers are among the possible destinations for the league’s all-time leading scorer.
