The car is junk, the father informs – after all, he was sitting next to it himself: A 19-year-old caused a spectacular accident on Thursday evening during a learning trip in Unterentfelden AG. She crashed the family car with great force into the entrance area of a manufacturer of special vehicles.
As the Aargau cantonal police wrote in a media release, the young woman was on Suhrenmattstrasse around 7:30 p.m. At Binzmattweg she wanted to turn into a side street in the 30 km/h zone. According to her own statements, another car came towards her there, the driver of which was also said to have honked. The situation apparently unsettled the learner driver so much that she confused the brake and accelerator pedals in the rush.
Father and daughter escape in horror
With the wheels turned, the car veered off the narrow road and crashed into the glass entrance area of the company building. The entrance door was literally crushed and several panes were broken.

Despite the violent impact, the 19-year-old and her father escaped with a shock. However, the car was a total loss and the accident also caused significant damage to the building. According to initial estimates, the material damage amounts to several tens of thousands of francs.
The Aargau cantonal police reported the learner driver to the public prosecutor. In addition, her learner’s license was confiscated as a precautionary measure.
