Pyongyang, June 10 (KCNA) — Comrade Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People’s Republic of China, left here by his private plane in the afternoon of June 9 after paying a state visit to the DPRK at the invitation of Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Comrade Kim Jong Un, together with his wife Ri Sol Ju, saw off Comrade Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan at Pyongyang International Airport.

The top leaders of the two parties and two countries further deepened the revolutionary friendship and close comradely relationship and affirmed their steadfast will to develop the traditional DPRK-China friendly ties into a model of the most powerful and strategic relations between the socialist states through the historic Pyongyang meeting.

Comrade Xi Jinping’s recent visit, to be specially recorded in the history of the development of the DPRK-China relations in the new era, constitutes a clear demonstration of the invincibility and immutability of the DPRK-China friendship and the most powerful political encouragement to our Party and state.

Streets of the capital city were overflowing with the warm atmosphere of seeing off Comrade Xi Jinping who was about to depart, leaving his sincerest feelings behind after visiting Pyongyang as his first foreign trip this year to greatly encourage the DPRK people in their drive to accomplish the socialist cause.

Comrade Xi Jinping’s private car left the Kumsusan State Guesthouse, the lodging place, and headed for Pyongyang International Airport, being warmly greeted by citizens along streets of the capital city.

People from all walks of life warmly saw off the close friends of the neighboring country, waving national flags of the two countries and bouquets and chanting the slogan for the DPRK-China friendship.

Comrade Kim Jong Un, together with his wife Ri Sol Ju, came to Pyongyang International Airport to say goodbye to Comrade Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.

Seen at the airport were Kim Jae Ryong and Ri Il Hwan, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretaries of the C.C., WPK, Kim Song Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the C.C., WPK, Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK, and No Kwang Chol, minister of National Defence of the DPRK.

Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials were present.

Comrade Xi Jinping’s private car arrived at Pyongyang International Airport crowded with many citizens and children who came there to see off him.

Comrade Kim Jong Un and his wife Ri Sol Ju greeted Comrade Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan.

Guided by Comrade Kim Jong Un, Comrade Xi Jinping reviewed the guard of honor of the Korean People’s Army.

Comrade Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan warmly waved back to the enthusiastically cheering people.

Comrade Kim Jong Un clasped the hands of the Chinese entourage members for goodbye.

Comrade Xi Jinping exchanged farewells with leading officials of the DPRK.

Comrade Kim Jong Un and Comrade Xi Jinping firmly shook hands with each other and exchanged farewells full of warm trust and friendship, expressing their unshakable will to lead the sacred cause for the co-prosperity and development and revolutionary unity of the peoples of the two countries and the victory of socialism on to a higher stage in conformity with the requirement of the new era.

Comrade Xi Jinping expressed his sincere gratitude to Comrade Kim Jong Un and the Korean Party, government and people for their sincere and cordial hospitality during his significant visit to Pyongyang.

Comrade Xi Jinping’s private plane departed from Pyongyang amid a good send-off by the people.

The common cause of the two parties and peoples of the two countries to invariably support, actively encourage and share the destiny in the sacred journey for socialism, independence and justice is invincible thanks to the great ideas, firm faith and wise leadership of the top leaders of the DPRK and China, and the DPRK-China friendship will be immortal, recording a new great history. -0-
