Jazz ‘n Creole marks its 15th staging on May 3, 2026, driven by sustained investment from the Government of Dominica and the support of corporate partners, contributing to economic activity and strengthening Dominica’s position as a destination for events.
Over the past 15 years, the Government of Dominica, as presenting sponsor, has invested more than EC$4.5 million in the development and execution of Jazz ‘n Creole. This investment has supported event production, marketing, artist engagement and the infrastructure and logistics required to deliver a seamless patron experience at Cabrits National Park. It has also created income-generating opportunities for local vendors, service providers and creatives, particularly in Portsmouth and surrounding communities.
The 2026 staging is supported by a network of partners whose contributions assist with production, services and on-site execution. These include Platinum Partners – National Bank of Dominica, Range Developments & Kingdom Bank, Silver Partner – Digicel Dominica, Business Partners – Arden Sounds, Dominica Air & Sea Ports Authority, Springfield Trading Ltd., Unicomer, Belfast Estate Ltd., Josephine Gabriel, National Cooperative Credit Union (NCCU), Depex Color Lab, PDV Caribe Dominica Ltd., OECS Pearl, Do It Center and Dominica Water and Sewerage Company.
Media partners DBS Radio, EmoNews, Q95 FM Radio, Kairi FM and Vibes Radio are supporting the 2026 staging, helping to amplify the event and extend its reach across Dominica.
“Over the past 15 years, the Government of Dominica’s investment in Jazz ‘n Creole has gone far beyond staging an event; it has been a deliberate investment in community tourism, local livelihoods and the sustainable development of Portsmouth and the north. By supporting this festival year after year, the government has helped create opportunities for vendors, hoteliers, transport providers, creatives and small businesses, ensuring that tourism revenue reaches the people and communities at the heart of the destination. Jazz ‘n Creole stands as a clear example of how strategic public investment can transform a cultural event into a powerful driver of economic growth and national pride,” said Marva Williams, CEO of Discover Dominica Authority.
The 2026 staging will bring patrons to Portsmouth for a full weekend experience, supporting accommodation providers, vendors and small businesses while reinforcing the area as a key location for national events.
The Discover Dominica Authority extends appreciation to all sponsors, partners and service providers supporting the 2026 staging of Jazz ‘n Creole and contributing to its continued success.
