US President: The text of the agreement with Iran will be announced soon

Details of the temporary agreement between the United States and Iran to end the war in the Middle East began to emerge with US President Donald Trump announcing that the agreement ruled out Tehran possessing a nuclear weapon, and an American official confirming that it would allow Iran to sell oil upon its signing.
The agreement will extend the fragile ceasefire declared in April for another 60 days, and will reopen the strait, which Iran has kept closed since the United States and Israel attacked it in February.
Trump said that the agreement clearly stipulates that Tehran will not possess a nuclear weapon, and that the full agreement will be announced in an official framework within a few days.
Speaking at the G7 summit in France, Trump added that he liked the idea of sending the agreement to Congress for review, a request made by Republican lawmakers. A senior American official said that the agreement allows Iran to immediately begin selling oil and fuel, and includes banking, transportation, and insurance services to facilitate sales. The official added that the agreement is conditional, as “Iran cannot benefit from any benefits of the memorandum of understanding unless it adheres to all the terms of the agreement, including not possessing nuclear weapons, neutralizing its enriched materials, and not obstructing freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.”
Negotiators will address thorny issues such as the future of Iran’s nuclear program during the next phase of the talks, which Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said would begin in Switzerland on Friday after the formal signing of the framework agreement.
It is unlikely that these planned negotiations will address the other two issues that Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said were the main reasons behind waging war, which are ending Iran’s support for armed groups allied with it in the region and limiting Tehran’s missile program.
