A border security violator was arrested for smuggling 42 kilograms of qat in Asir
Security regiment patrols in the Asir region arrested a violator of the border security system of Ethiopian nationality for smuggling (42) kilograms of the narcotic qat plant in Al-Farsha Governorate. He was arrested, legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the competent authority.
The security authorities call upon citizens and residents to report all information available to citizens and residents about any activities related to drug smuggling or drug promotion, by calling the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions, and the General Directorate of Narcotics Control’s report number (995), and via e-mail 995@gdnc.gov.sa.
