Janet Jackson will not be among the family members who appear in the film Michael which is about the life of her brother, Michael Jackson. According to her sister, La Toya Jackson, she was offered to be a part of the movie but she chose to turn it down.
“She was offered it but she politely declined. Her wishes must be respected,” La Toya told Variety at the premiere of the film in Los Angeles these days.
La Toya attended the premiere with several of her brothers, Jackie, Marlon, Randy and Jermaine, and said she preferred the whole family to the project.
La Toya Jackson did not miss the premiere and said that she would have liked to see the whole family come to the film.

Director Antoine Fuqua also commented on Janet’s absence, saying that he has great respect and affection for her. Most importantly, she supported Jaafar Jackson, who plays the role of Michael in the film.
The main actor is Michael’s nephew
Jaafar is Jermaine Jackson’s son and Michael’s nephew. The film follows the singer’s life and career, from the time he first came out jackson 5 under the signs Motown in 1969 and until he established himself as the King of Pop.
La Toya spoke highly of Jaafar’s performance and said he was so convincing in the role that at times it was as if Michael himself had returned to the big screen.
