Iran: The final text of the agreement has been finalized

Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the United States and the Iran have reached a mutually acceptable final text of a peace agreement. According to Sharif, this development marks an important step towards the de-escalation of tension in the region.

In a post on Platform X, the Pakistani prime minister claimed that “the final, agreed text of the peace deal has been completed,” adding that Islamabad is working closely with both sides to determine next steps.

“Pakistan is now working closely with both sides to determine the next steps,” it said. “Peace has never been as close as it is now,” he added.

Amid ongoing intense mediation efforts by Pakistan, we are fully aware of incessant misinformation campaign being waged by those who want to sabotage the peace deal. Setting aside the noise, we can confirm that a final, agreed upon text of the peace deal has been reached and…

Aragchi: A US-Iran deal closer than ever

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also moved in the same vein earlier, who stated that an “Islamabad Memorandum of Cooperation” to settle the war USA-Israel vs. Iran “has never been so close.”

However, Aragchi urged the media not to speculate about its contents until it is finalised.

Finally, he stressed that Tehran will publicly share all the details in due course, in what he described as the Islamic Republic’s responsible and transparent approach.

What is included in the memorandum of understanding, the terms for nuclear and Hormuz

The terms of the US-Iran memorandum of understanding include the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of the US blockade of Iranian ports, a senior US official told reporters on Friday.

Iran’s enriched uranium will be destroyed on site and then shipped out of the country, he said on condition of anonymity.

The terms also include an inspection regime to ensure the long-term implementation of the agreement.

Iran, if it complies, will be relieved of economic pressures, including by unfreezing its assets and lifting sanctions, the official added. “The Iranians get nothing by signing the Memorandum of Cooperation or by the negotiation itself,” he stressed.

“They are financially rewarded for complying with their obligations under the agreement. So if they deliver the nuclear material as promised, they will get something. If they dismantle their nuclear program or their nuclear facilities, they will get something else,” the official said.

“No money will be released until they fulfill their obligations. The Straits of Hormuz will remain open. There will be no funding of terrorist groups from Iran,” he said, adding: “This is what they have agreed to. It is an agreement based on the fulfillment of obligations.”

The United States and Iran are very close to an agreement to resolve their dispute, he said, adding that Washington expects to sign a deal in the coming days.

“The negotiating team has put us in a very good position, but let’s see, we haven’t reached the finish line yet, but we’re very close,” he said.

The official said, finally, that the agreed terms fulfill the main goals of Donald Trump.

Trump on Iranians: They are dishonest, the leaked terms have nothing to do with what was agreed in writing

At the same time, by posting it on social media, Donald Trump has turned against Irandisputing the information that, according to him, was leaked to the press about the content of an agreement between the two sides.

“The terms leaked by Iran have nothing to do with the terms that were agreed in writing,” he pointed out.

“What they have said, including their weak and pathetic statement about reaching a deal, has nothing to do with the truth,” Trump wrote, adding that these are “very dishonest people” with whom, he claimed, “there is no good faith in negotiations.”

At the same time, he referred to an incident that occurred last night and, according to him, involved an attack by unmanned aircraft against Indian ships coming out of the Straits of Hormuz.

Trump called the incident “totally unacceptable,” issuing a stern warning to Iran. “It’s better that they come together and quickly,” said the American president.
