From April 13 to 17, the average wholesale price of gasoline decreased by 0.95 UAH/l (66.22 UAH/l), diesel – by 3.91 UAH/l (84.38 UAH/l). LPG fell in price by UAH 3,150/t (UAH 1.70/l), to UAH 77,290/t (UAH 41.74/l).

“The four-day decline in European quotations and stability on the futures market gave the opportunity for some gas stations to start cooling down prices on speakers. This phenomenon cannot yet be called massive, but the trend will intensify if wholesale prices do not start to rise,” analysts believe.
At the same time, over the past two days, April 16 and 17, the retail price of A-95 gasoline and diesel fuel fell by 14 kopecks/l, to UAH 73.01/l and UAH 91.25/l. Liquefied gas undercounted by only 3 kopecks/l, up to UAH 49.13/l.
During this period, the prices of UPG (91 UAH/l), Chipo (91.87 UAH/l) and “Avantaj 7” (89.95 UAH/l) were reduced by UAH 1/l. The Kryvyi Rih network RLS dropped 40 kopecks/l (89.50 hryvnias/l).
The Chipo network was almost the only one that also affected gasoline: in two waves, the price was reduced by UAH 4.28/l, to UAH 71.60/l, experts note.
Along with that in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the price of A-95 was lowered by UAH 1/l and in BRSM-Nafta (68.99 UAH/l).
According to analysts, pdrip gas started to move down towards the end of the week. As of April 17, the price tags of BVS, Ovis and Marshal (in the Sumy region) were reduced by UAH 1/l: UAH 47.90/l, UAH 48.99/l and UAH 47.99/l. The latter unified the price of gas in all regions to a single level. The price of fuel at the Katral and Avtotrans stations also increased by 11–50 kopecks/l.
Experts emphasize that inelectric networks are not yet responding to the situation, as they are under pressure from expensive residuals.
According to analysts, with given the decline of the wholesale segment and the stabilization of external quotations, the potential for a further decrease in retail prices remains. A more active adjustment of the ceilings is hindered by the expensive remaining resources formed during the price peak, as well as the April volumes contracted by importer networks at higher prices.
