In Ukraine, 455 institutions received energy certificates, which is one of the conditions for participation in state support programs – receiving soft loans, etc.
The State Energy Efficiency Agency reports this.
“In Ukraine, the first stage of the state program on energy certification of state buildings has been implemented: 455 institutions have been certified,” the message says.
The State Energy Efficiency Agency together with JSC “Fund for Decarbonization of Ukraine” are implementing a state program, within the framework of which energy certification of 455 state buildings was carried out with the funds of the State Fund for Decarbonization and Energy Efficient Transformation.
Hospitals, universities, fire departments and a number of government buildings received energy certificates, and kindergartens are among the certified buildings. These are buildings in Kropyvnytskyi, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi.
The presence of an energy certificate is one of the conditions for participation in state support programs, in particular for receiving preferential loans, grants or compensation for warming or modernization of heating systems.
“Under the condition of comprehensive thermal modernization of such objects to the normative class “C”, the specific reduction in energy consumption is from 40% to 70%,” said the head of the State Energy Efficiency Agency, Hanna Zamazeyeva.
The energy certificate allows you to assess the actual energy consumption of the building, understand the level of costs for its maintenance and determine the energy efficiency class.
The document contains practical recommendations for reducing energy consumption, calculations of necessary measures, their cost and expected effect.
The data can be used by state authorities and local governments to plan budget expenditures, form energy modernization programs, and determine priority objects for investment.
The State Energy Efficiency Agency has already collected about 3,000 applications for further certification of buildings of state institutions throughout the country.
In parallel, together with the Decarbonization Fund, another state program is being implemented — the installation of solar power plants with energy storage systems at state facilities.
These are primarily emergency and rescue units, hospitals, maternity homes and other critically important institutions where stable energy supply is a safety issue.
We will remind:
Earlier reportedthat “Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine” LLC will install 40,000 smart modules for gas metering meters in households and budget institutions, which allow data to be transmitted remotely.
Earlier reportedthat KP “Kyivteploenergo” plans to install 440 home heat metering devices in 2025, including more than 300 new ones and about 100 meters instead of stolen ones or those that cannot be repaired.
