Today, Saturday, Hodeidah University launched the new academic year 1448 AH – corresponding to 2026/2027 AD, in a number of its colleges and educational centers.
The university’s president, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ahdal, explained to Al-Thawra Net that the inauguration also included colleges and educational centers affiliated with the university in the “Zabid, Bajil, and Bayt Al-Faqih” districts.
He stressed the university’s full commitment to the academic calendar circulated by the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research to all public and private higher education institutions.
He praised the Ministry’s efforts to support and develop the educational and academic process, including unifying curricula in many specializations and departments in all Yemeni universities, in a way that enhances the quality of educational outcomes.
The University President appreciated the great efforts made by the leaders of colleges and educational centers in adhering to the university calendar, discipline, and active presence since the first day of school in the new year.
