Today, Monday, the Meteorological Department reported in an alert that rain, thunderstorms, and high temperatures would occur in a number of states across the country.
A level one alert in yellow stated that the states affected by rainfall are Djelfa, Tiaret, Laghouat, El Bayadh, Saida, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, Naama, Tamanrasset, Ain Fezam and Bordj Badji Mokhtar.
As for the states of Djelfa, Tiaret, Laghouat, El Bayadh, Saida, Sidi Bel Abbes, Tlemcen, Naama, Tamanrasset, Ain Vazzam, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, M’Sila, Medea and Tissemsilt, thunderstorms will occur. As for the states of Annaba, Skikda, Jijel, Bejaia and Boumerdes, temperatures will rise.
In another warning for tomorrow, Tuesday, the states of Souk Ahras, Tebessa, Oum El Bouaghi, Khenchela, Batna, Constantine, Mila, Setif, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Medea, Tissemsilt, M’Sila, Djelfa, Tiaret, Laghouat, El Bayadh, Naama, Tlemcen, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, Tamanrasset and Ain Vazzam will see rain and thunderstorms. The states of Ain Defla, Chlef, Mostaganem, Mascara and Relizane will also witness a heat wave.
