Sheikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Defense Council, received Major General Dan Reeve, Assistant Chief of the British Defense Staff for operations in the friendly United Kingdom.
During the meeting, Sheikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa stressed the depth of the established historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and the continuous development they are witnessing in various fields, especially the security and defense fields, noting that the existing strategic partnership between the two countries embodies the mutual keenness to strengthen the bonds of cooperation and joint coordination and push bilateral relations towards more advanced levels in order to achieve common goals and interests.
During the meeting, a number of topics of common interest were reviewed, existing aspects of cooperation and ways to develop them were discussed, in addition to discussing current regional developments and developments, exchanging views on the challenges taking place in the region, and emphasizing the importance of continuing consultation and coordination on issues of common interest, in a way that contributes to supporting security and stability for all.
