    Gulf News | During his reception of His Highness the participants in the Gulf Ministerial Council meeting.. The Crown Prince and Prime Minister: Bahrain, under the leadership of the King, is keen to continue supporting Gulf cooperation paths towards greater integration and joint coordination


    His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, to continue supporting the paths of Gulf cooperation towards greater integration and joint coordination in order to achieve the aspirations and visions of their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. His Highness expressed his pride in the path of the Gulf Cooperation Council and the solid foundations of joint Gulf action built by fathers and grandfathers. Stressing the importance of continuing to build on the achievements and gains achieved, and consolidating the fraternal ties and close cooperation that unites the GCC countries, which constitute a source of strength and impetus for the Gulf action process.

    This came during a meeting with His Highness yesterday, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Jassim Mohammed Al Budawi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, heads of delegations participating in the 167th Ministerial Council meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the third joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Canada, where they conveyed the greetings of Their Majesties and Highnesses, leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. To His Majesty the King of the Arab Gulf States, and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Highness also conveyed to them the greetings of His Majesty the King of the Arab Gulf States and the greetings of His Highness to Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, expressing his aspiration that the meetings would achieve their desired goals and be an impetus for further cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, in a way that achieves common aspirations.

    His Highness pointed out the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to support all initiatives and efforts aimed at consolidating peace, security and prosperity, promoting various development paths, and investing in future opportunities to achieve the desired goals at various levels.

    His Highness also expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s condemnation of the renewed sinful Iranian attacks on the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for all efforts aimed at de-escalation, protecting civilians and vital installations, and consolidating regional and international peace and security.

    His Highness pointed to the good friendly relations between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Canada, and the continuous development of joint cooperation paths, pointing out the importance of continuing to enhance aspects of cooperation and joint work between the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Canada, and creating more future opportunities that contribute to pushing them towards more advanced and prosperous levels.

    For their part, the heads of delegations participating in the 167th Ministerial Council meeting of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and the third joint ministerial meeting of the strategic dialogue between the Gulf Cooperation Council and Canada, expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his keenness and continued interest in enhancing aspects of joint Gulf action, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain continued growth and prosperity.
