“…TO SHOW MY solidarity with everybody…” is how Opposition Leader Dr. Ralph Gonsalves described his presence at the High Court in Kingstown on Tuesday at the beginning of the election petitions trials.
“…I got a report last night (Tuesday July 28) from Carlos James and from senior counsel Stuart Young as to how things transpired and we seem to be moving pretty okay…” Dr. Gonsalves told Star Radio’s Morning Comrade radio program on Wednesday July 29.
Carlos Williams and Luke Browne, unsuccessful candidates for the Unity Labour Party (ULP) in the Northern Grenadines and East Kingstown respectively during the last General Elections, are challenging the nomination and subsequent election of Prime Minister Dr. Godwin Friday, and Foreign Affairs Minister Fitzgerald “Fitz” Bramble.
