PARAMARIBO — Due to the alert actions of parents, a case of fornication was discovered and dealt with in a timely manner. The 45-year-old suspect JG, better known as “Sieki”, was arrested by the Livorno police on Saturday for indecently touching his mentally handicapped niece RG (15).
The victim’s parents filed a police report. The preliminary investigation shows that they were performing work at an event opposite their home that day. The mother, who was selling snacks out front, saw her daughter go inside at one point. Shortly afterwards, JG, a cousin of the father, also entered the house.
When the mother did not see her daughter return, she warned the father. He immediately entered the house and found his nephew and his daughter in the toilet. Upon seeing the father, the suspect pushed him away and hurriedly left the house. The mentally retarded teenager informed her parents that the man had groped her on her genitals and upper body, after which the parents immediately reported the incident to the police station. The suspect was tracked down and handcuffed at his home address. During the arraignment, he admitted to being guilty of the criminal offense. JG has been placed in custody by the police pending the investigation.
