The parade of giant balloons in Xochimilco It is an event to celebrate the Children’s Day big. Various inflatable figures will walk the streets in a festive and family atmosphere.

To celebrate the little ones on their day, at the mayor’s office Xochimilco is preparing Balloon Festival 2026with cartoon characters, animal figures and other shapes.
This parade seeks to bring families together in a carnival-style atmosphere, with monumental balloons, troupes, music, entertainers and alternative activities.
There will be food and drink stalls to replenish energy. The complete billboard will be shared in the following days.
And to offer a safe experience, here we leave you a series of recommendations:
- As it is a free and massive event, arrive early so that your little ones get a good place.
- Wear comfortable clothing, sunscreen and a hat or cap.
- If you plan to arrive by car, consider that there may be closures on certain roads in Xochimilco, especially those where the parade will pass.
- Keep minors under surveillance at all times.
- Invading the passage of contingents and troupes is not permitted.

He Balloon Festival 2026 It is next Sunday, April 26 at 9:00 a.m. The tour will begin at the Nativitas gas station heading to Deportivo Xochimilco, located in Ignacio Zaragoza, Santiago Tulyehualco, Xochimilco, CDMX
At the end of the parade you can continue the celebration inside the sports hall, as it will have artistic, cultural and sports activities.
