The maximum public sale prices of fuels will register changes in Panama as of Friday October 2, 2026with increases in 95 and 91 octane gasoline, while low-sulfur diesel will experience a reduction.
According to the National Energy Secretariatthe new prices will be effective from 6:00 am on October 2 until 5:59 am on Friday, October 16, 2026at service stations in the Republic of Panama.
For this period, gasoline 95 octane will increase 0.040 cents per literwhile that of 91 octane will have an increase of 0.031 cents per liter. In contrast, the low sulfur diesel will decrease 0.019 cents per liter.
The new maximum public sales prices for fuels will vary depending on the location in accordance with the table established by the National Secretariat of Energy.
In Panama and Colon95 octane gasoline will have a maximum price of $1,424 per literwhile 91 octane gasoline will be located at $1,318 and low sulfur diesel (ULS) in $1,511 per liter.
In Arraiján and La Chorreraprices will be $1,427 for 95 octane gasoline, $1,321 for 91 octane gasoline, and $1,514 for ULS diesel.
Prices show differences between different areas of the country, being Changuinola the town with the highest maximum values on the list, with $1,474 per liter for 95 octane gasoline, $1,368 for 91 and $1,561 for ULS diesel.
