– “Mr. Grabiec did not respond to text messages, nor to any attempts at communication,” said Mariusz Trojanowski, director of the hospital in Aleksandrów Kujawski, speaking on Telewizja Republika. In the interview, he described the behind-the-scenes contacts with government representatives regarding funding from the National Recovery Plan (KPO) for county hospitals, as well as the lack of feedback on submitted proposals.
Mariusz Trojanowski, director of the hospital in Aleksandrów Kujawski, addressed the issue of financing county-level medical facilities in the context of funds from the National Recovery Plan. During the interview on Telewizja Republika, he pointed out that one of the problems discussed was the lack of funds for the hospitals’ own contribution.
– “Our goal was to do everything possible to ensure that hospitals would have the money for their own contribution. County hospitals simply do not have such resources,” he said.
As he reported, during the talks a declaration was allegedly made by Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Subsequently, a person responsible for further actions was indicated – Jan Grabiec.
– “We were given contact details for Mr. Grabiec. But he did not respond to text messages or to any attempts at communication,” Trojanowski stated.
Asked to clarify the situation, he emphasized that it was not a formal referral, but rather an indication of a competent person in the given area. “The Prime Minister pointed to someone who would potentially be responsible for handling this matter,” he said.
The director stressed that the hospital community has not received any feedback regarding the proposals submitted. “We don’t know. At the moment, we are really in a very distant place that does not correspond to the reality we would consider desirable,” he noted.
In his view, some of the proposed solutions do not require additional funding. “These are ready-made ideas, laid out plainly. But no one is doing anything with them,” he said.
Asked about the reasons for the lack of action, he replied:
– “We don’t know, we truly don’t know why. Some matters are very simple and could be resolved quickly.”
