Senator’s allies Flavio Bolsonaro (PL) see the stance of Michelle Bolsonaro to suggest a possible withdrawal of the candidacy for the Senate like bluff.
The possibility of the former first lady leaving the dispute, which had been circulating since last week among party members, was renewed this Tuesday (30), with the announcement of Michelle’s resignation as president of PL Mulheramid complaints of attacks.
In their opinion, the former first lady has worked to undermine Flávio’s candidacy but, despite criticism of her stance, they admit, behind the scenes, that they still need her to get the vote of female voters. Therefore, they still articulate a truce to the conflict between the two.
One possibility that was raised would be to give Flávio’s vice-president to her, but members of the PL tried to deny the idea by remembering that the two were broken up and would not stay together for a long time.
It is not new that allies say that Michelle has shown tiredness of the political dispute and sometimes says that she will give up trying to run for the Senate. Among members of the PL, the understanding is that she has used the fight between the two as a political dispute.
