An anonymous alert allowed the National Civil Police (PNC) to carry out, in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office, a raid on a retail drug sales point.
The PNC reported this Saturday, April 11, that the investigation took place in zone 2 of Cobán, Alta Verapaz, where they captured 11 men and one woman.
The detainees are Carlos “N”, 25 years old; Fabián “N”, 31; Angel “N”, 19; Carlos “N”, 27; Marvin “N,” 26; Jorge “N”, 24, and Adner “N”, 30.
Also captured were Henry “N”, 32; Leonel “N”, 45; Emanuel “N”, 39; César “N”, 39, and Alejandra “N”, 37 years old.
In the house they located 10 bags with marijuana, 23 plastic containers, known as “colmillos”, with cocaine; 12 bags with drug pills called ecstasy, a digital scale, Q1,450 and 14 cell phones.
In addition, they seized two illegal firearms and 29 ammunition of different calibers; One of the weapons has its registration expunged.
