The Office of the President (KP) of the Slovak Republic called Sunday’s claims by the unclassified member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, Ján Ferenčák, about the meeting of the President of the Slovak Republic, Petr Pellegrini, with representatives of Hlas as untrue. TASR informed the communication department of the KP SR about this.
“Deputy Ján Ferenčák’s statement about the meeting of Mr. President with Hlas representatives is false in its entirety. (…) Slovak President Peter Pellegrini emphatically rejects the lies that MP Ján Ferenčák presented to him today in a televised debate without an opponent. Mr. President did not participate in any meeting with Hlas representatives that the deputy mentioned about Mr. Ferenčák’s problems with law enforcement authorities he is not interested and does not receive any information about them at all,” the president’s office said.
Ferenčák on Sunday in the show Politika 24 on Joj 24 reported that Pellegrini is still active in the Hlas party and meets with its representatives. According to Ferenčák, the last meeting took place in March in Turčianske Teplice. According to the deputy, the president was also informed about the planned steps against his person.
