The iconic Argentine guitarist Felipe Staitifounder of the famous band Green Dwarves, died at 64 years oldaccording to media reports such as The Time from Colombia, The Nation from Argentina and Infobae.
The artist died in the Italian Hospital in the province of Mendoza, in Argentina.
After the death of vocalist Marciano Cantero in 2022, Staiti took over as interpreter.
According to the Argentine media, Staiti died this Monday, April 13, in the afternoon after suffering health complications. The musician had been admitted to the medical center due to severe dehydration.
Infobae explained that one of the first to express pain over the death of the interpreter was Diego Gareca, Secretary of Culture of Mendoza, who wrote a message on his social networks: “With deep sadness we say goodbye to the beloved Felipe Staiti, a immense talent of our land and fundamental piece of the history of mendocino rock”, he stated.

Despite his health situation, Staiti was in the process of recovery and among his short-term plans was a tour he would do with Enanitos Verdes and the Spanish band Men G through the United States between June and July. In addition, the Argentine band, icons of rock in Spanish, was also working on a greatest hits album.
Enanitos Verdes began creating music in November 1979 and four years later he participated in the Festival de la Falda (in Argentina), where artists such as Charly García and Alberto Spinetta had previously performed.
