Environment carries out inspection after report of fish mortality in Izabal

The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources reports on the inspection following a complaint about the presence of dead fish on the Puerto Barrios Malecón.

According to preliminary information, the accumulation of dead fish of a single species and size could be linked to poor fishing practices.

He adds that surveillance actions will continue.
