the common ofcamp has summoned the seventh edition of the Showcase Competition and decoration of Christmasan initiative aimed at encouraging the participation of the shops, companies and entities of the parish in the Christmas decorations. The contest will distribute prizes of up to 450 euros and will open registrations from November 15 to 30. Those interested must present the participation form at the offices of Tourism of Encamp or of Pas de la Casawhile the decorations must be installed and visible to the public from December 1, 2026 to January 6, 2027.
The competition will have six categories a Encamp and six in Pas de la Casa, which will include storefronts and shops on the ground floor, indoor commercial premises, restaurants and bars, buildings and villas, hotel communal areas and hotel outdoor spaces. In the first three categories, winners will receive 450 euroswhile the runners-up will receive 300 euros. In the remaining three, the prizes will be of 250 and 150 eurosrespectively. The jury will visit the establishments on December 1 and 2 and will assess aspects such as creativity, originality, lighting, sustainability of materials and integration with the environment.
The initiative is part of the community’s economic revitalization program and seeks to boost commercial activity and create an attractive Christmas atmosphere for residents and visitors. Interactions on social networks with the hashtag #femparroquiaencamp will also be taken into account, although they will not be decisive in awarding the awards.
