On June 12, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a working meeting on preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of State Independence, as well as on other relevant areas of work.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli, the Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali and heads of a number of government departments, the presidential press service reports.
The main attention was paid to the progress of construction and improvement of facilities being built for the anniversary of independence, as well as the preparation of the country for the autumn-winter period.
The head of state instructed to speed up the construction and timely delivery of facilities provided for in the anniversary programs.
Emomali Rahmon also emphasized the importance of high-quality preparation for winter and the new school year, instructing to pay special attention to the repair, modernization and provision of educational and health care institutions.
