At the worst time for him

Algerian international defender Elias Ben Kara suffered a real shock after suffering an injury during the friendly match in which his club, Borussia Dortmund, was defeated by two goals to one against Fortuna Dusseldorf, which forced him to leave the field for only two minutes after entering as a substitute.
The German media explained that Elias Ben Kara was limited to playing for a period not exceeding two minutes, before he suffered a muscle injury, which forced him to leave the green rectangle directly, and join the locker rooms.
The same sources did not reveal the type of injury suffered by the 19-year-old, who has participated regularly since the beginning of summer preparations in the training of the professional team of Borussia Dortmund, after he was just a member of the reserve team throughout last season.
Ben Kara’s injury came at the worst possible time for him, as he was seeking to prove himself to coach Niko Kovac, in light of the absence of the team’s internationals who participated in the recent World Cup finals, which left him room to play, but unfortunately for him, he will not be able to exploit it as necessary.
It is noteworthy that Elias Ben Kara signed his first professional contract last January with Borussia Dortmund, linking him with the latter until June 2029.
The market value of the Algerian defender does not exceed 300,000 euros, according to the latest update of the “Transfer Market” platform, which was what was required by the Gruther Fürth club wishing to benefit from his services in the form of a loan before the closure of the current summer transfer period.
