The Electoral Office of Dominica has announced a new initiative aimed at improving access to voter services, as part of what it says is an ongoing commitment to serving the electorate in a transparent, inclusive, and accommodating manner.
Under this initiative, centralized voter confirmation services will be offered in the capital city, Roseau. The measure is designed to assist electors who are registered in constituencies outside of Roseau but have since relocated to or are employed within the Roseau area.
To facilitate this process, the Electoral Office will host weekly voter confirmation services at Windsor Park Sports Stadium. Each week, a different constituency will be accommodated, allowing electors to complete their confirmation process without the need to travel back to their original districts.
Individuals are required to present a valid ID, i.e. Dominica passport, social security card, or valid driver’s license, as well as a witness.
“And for persons who do not have an ID, we have now made it easy by allowing them to present a passport size photo with a note, this is a true likeness and your name along with the first schedule notarised by the Justice of Peace, the notary public or a commission of post along with your birth certificate,” explained Chief Election officer, Anthea Joseph.
The rotational schedule is set to begin in the second week of April 2026.

The public is being encouraged to take advantage of this initiative to complete voter confirmation in a timely and convenient manner.
For additional information or inquiries, individuals may contact the Electoral Office via its hotlines at 767-617-9595 or 767-275-8164.
