Referring to the data published by the Central Election Commission in Kosovo (KQZ), the process of counting votes is nearing the end, since until Saturday in the morning, 92.79 percent of the votes, or 2,497 out of a total of 2,691 polling stations, have been counted. According to the updated results until 10:00 on Saturday, the Vetëvendosje Movement convincingly leads the race with 44.09 percent of the votes, which translates into 310,591 votes.
In second place is the Democratic Party of Kosovo with 20.82 percent, or 146,670 votes, while the Democratic League of Kosovo is positioned third with 17.07 percent, or 120,257 votes.
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has so far secured 7.09 percent of the votes, or 49,939 votes. According to the calculations of the CEC on the current results, the Vetëvendosje Movement has secured 50 seats in the Assembly, PDK 23 seats, LDK 19 seats, while AAK 8 seats.
The counting process continues, while the results are expected to be officially confirmed after the tabulation is complete in all polling stations.
