Classes at Eden Lodge Primary School and the section of Good Shepherd Primary accommodated there have been suspended while the Ministry of Education Transformation identifies alternative locations for both schools.
The decision follows reports of teachers feeling unwell at the compound.
In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry said recent environmental and air quality tests showed no unusual contaminants, but investigations into the source of the unpleasant odour and reported symptoms are continuing.
The ministry said it is working to relocate both schools as quickly as possible and will continue engaging staff and parents.
The school had been closed for several days over concerns about the odour and reopened on Wednesday, but renewed complaints prompted another closure.
