An unprecedented delegation of roughly 30 ambassadors to NATO is set to visit Japan from Wednesday, marking the largest high-level mission to the country by member states and a significant milestone in deepening bilateral ties.
During the three-day trip, the diplomats are set to meet Cabinet ministers and senior officials to discuss shared security concerns and explore avenues for closer cooperation and strategic alignment.
The talks are expected to center on several pressing geopolitical issues, including the conflict in the Middle East, China’s growing military assertiveness and Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
