Serious problems caused the earthquakes which was noted in Euboea at noon on Sunday.
As the deputy governor of the Evia regional unit Giorgos Kelaiditis stated on evima.gr, there are damages caused by the earthquake in houses, buildings and shops. At this time there is concern in the world as the earthquake was particularly noticeable.
The mayor of Mantoudi, Limni, Agia Anna, Giorgos Tsapourniotis, reported to APE-MPE that so far no injuries have been reported, however there is “extensive damage to the road network with landslides and also damage to houses in Prokopi and Dafnousa”.
As it became known from Civil Protection, the Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, Kostas Katsafados and the General Secretary of Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid, Petros Kambouris are in contact with the local authorities in order to record the damages.
At the same time, as it became known from the Fire Department, the forces of the Fire Department have been mobilized and are carrying out patrols in the wider area while they have also proceeded to remove stones from a road in the Derveni area of Evia.
