Vytautė, who shared a post on the social network Facebook about the unusual delivery situation of the parcel, said that she was surprised – the parcel, which was supposed to reach Rokiškis, was unexpectedly directed to Vilnius, approximately 160 kilometers from the recipient.
“The parcel was supposed to arrive in Rokiškis, but I got a message that there is no room in the post machine… and it is directed to Vilnius. Seriously?” she wrote.
A woman 15 minutes said that it was not possible to contact the company immediately. Finally, the customer service specialist confirmed that the package is indeed in Vilnius, although it was supposed to be delivered to Rokiškis.
“They said that they would pass on the information to the courier so that the parcel would be forwarded to Rokiškis, and I would receive a new message. The delivery is in three days, and it doesn’t matter at all that it’s their fault,” she said.
Representatives of Omniva, which provides parcel delivery services 15 minutes testified that this may have happened “to avoid additional delays and to ensure faster delivery”.
