The price of diesel is expected to fall by four cents and that of gasoline is expected to rise by 2.5 cents next week, reflecting the evolution of international prices.
Price evolution forecasts were provided to the Lusa agency by the National Association of Fuel Dealers (ANAREC) and already include VAT.
Based on current values from the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) and taking into account forecasts with market opening values, from Monday onwards, the average price of simple diesel fuel should be 1.928 euros per liter and that of simple gasoline 95 at 1.921 euros per liter.
The final average will only be finalized at the end of the day, and may also register changes depending on the evolution of international oil prices, and the final cost at the pump may vary depending on the gas station, brand and location.
Furthermore, the extraordinary reductions in ISP (Tax on Petroleum and Energy Products) rates that the Government has been approving could also change the predicted values.
The price of Brent oil, a reference in Europe, for delivery in June, was rising 0.89% today to 106.01 dollars, pressured upwards by the maintenance of the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz.
