Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah has held talks with his Nigerien counterpart Ali Zeine in Tripoli, focusing on border security and bilateral cooperation.
The meeting on Monday covered economic partnership, investment opportunities, and regional infrastructure and connectivity projects between the two countries.
Discussions also addressed a range of security and regional issues, including border control, combating cross-border organised crime, and irregular migration, as well as ways to strengthen institutional and security coordination.
Both sides agreed to reactivate the Libyan–Nigerien joint higher committee and continue coordination to implement agreed programmes and projects.
